The sun is shining, the warm weather is approaching… May is almost here which means its Margarita season! We are kicking off the Spring and Summer months by celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a Margarita Bar. The best thing about margaritas is there is no “right” or “wrong” way to drink them. In fact, we’re leaving behind the classic margarita this summer and stepping outside the box with some interesting twists.
Champagne in margaritas? Say what! That’s right, try swapping out the club soda with Korbel California Champagne for a fizzy margarita.
Black Raspberry Margarita
If you’re looking to add a little flavor to your margarita, look no further than this Black Raspberry Margarita. Edible flowers are one of my favorite ways to garnish a drink and they are finally back in season. You can purchased edible flowers at various grocery stores to make an instantly more fabulous cocktail.
While we may be talking margarita variations, there’s nothing wrong with keeping it simple. If you love a classic margarita, this one’s for you. Combine el Jimador Silver Tequila, sour mix, and triple sec – shake and strain, garnish with a lime and serve on the rocks.
